Dave! Jeremy!
How's it going guys! Jeez it's been a long time. Jeremy, the last time I think I saw you was at Laguna like 8 years ago. Dave, I think I last saw you like three years ago at the Long Beach swap meet, but I think I was having one of my anti-social days, sorry about that. I went back to the beginning of this thread and started reading, wow, lots of familiar names and every once in a while a "I remember that!" moment. Hard to believe some of the stuff we got away with!
Jeremy, I still have a jacket patch but it didn't have the Mini cartoon on it, just lettering. The Mini cartoon was on a t-shirt design I did, but guess what, I just went out in the garage and found the original silkscreen I made. I'll get a photo of it and post it here. How's your brother? PM me his address or send him mine or something.
Like Dave said, I was the guy with the camera. I had a couple of breaks early on like the Porsche calendar and started to take it seriously. I never tried to make a living at it but I did make money.....sometimes. I'll be happy to throw some up here for everyone's enjoyment I happen to have a stack of slide pages here next to my desk. Let's see... grab a few... nope.... nope... nope... OK, here we go, Riverside IMSA, 1983, the Bob Wollek, Mauricio DeNarvarrez 935.
Just a note kids, all photos are my copyright, please do not copy or use them without permission. Chances are, whatever you want to do is fine with me, but you have to ask!
Well, that's all for now. More later. Dave has been telling a lot of stories so maybe I'll tell a couple of stories about Dave!
Ciao babies,
Kurt O. (aka "Obe")
