The driveshaft should unbolt from the differential, drop it at the diff end and pull it out of the back of the tranny. Withdraw bad seal and compare it to the new one you bought to make sure you got all the pieces out. Install the new one with a really big socket as a drift.

+1. Looks like the tail seal to me. Could be one or all of the culprit(s). Change it, clean the underside of the trans down with a few cans of brake cleaner and run it again to see if the leak is gone. If it still persists, then at least with all the grime gone you can see where its coming from..
