It was VERY obvious where the leak was coming from once I started putting fresh ATF in he car. The drip procession was just about twice per second...
I do have the Haynes' manual, but I think it has a "don't ask, don't tell" policy when it comes to transmissions. In any case, I will order the tail seal, and try to find a reasonable step-by-step repair FAQ...
