It would be interesting to take a Chinese fake, an Italian fake and a Rota fake, slice them in half and compare the sections (and count the bubbles and voids
).
Also, the claims of watercooled, low pressure casting made for the Chinese wheel would be interesting to check out against the Bronze Age gravity cast Rota fakes (were there the remotest obese chance of my staking my rolling life on any of them).
