Richard, that is MovableType (
www.sixapart.com) running on my domain/server (isp). There is a free version, but you have to have a server to install it on. There is a hosted version though (typepad). I have wordpress installed as well but don't use it...I've run almost every blog software known to man over the years. MT isn't perfect and runs as a cgi which has issues, but it spits out static pages so even if the db dies your pages are intact.
