I hope so, since my butt and a pew have been mutually exclusive since my Catholic Prep days.
I like your priest friend, which only reaffirms my Tip O'Neill analogy: all religions are local.
I am not an atheist by any standard, I simply believe that all faiths, removed from the extremes, are generally seeking the same ends. I also never question another's choice of faith...or lack of faith. The best people I know extend the same courtesy.
