Oh, whenever I start a new job and have to watch those ridiculous short movies about sexual or racial or whatever discrimination and then have to fill out a survey about them, I make it a point to say how insulting to one's intelligence those shorts are. They always say the rule of thumb isL if you wouldn't say or do it in front of your significant other or kids, you shouldn't do it at work. Anyone know where the term "rule of thumb" comes from? And there's not much I say or do with my friends that I can't say or do with my fiance around, but would get me canned instantly at the office.
