I agree that you have more of what I call "useable" months than I do here in MO, but you have exaggerated a bit. I lived in Scottsdale for two years. The temps broke 100 in mid-May and didn't abate until mid-September. June through August was like living in hell. I would go out to run at 4:30 in the morning. On the other hand because of the low humidity, when it got below 100 it actually felt like I could go outside without dying.
