I think it's al about F/R balance.
For example, I have 23mm swaybars and 250LBS lowering springs in Front.
18mm swaybar and stock suspension in rear.
I notice that my front end is way stiffer than the rear, which causes the car to understeer. A strut brace wouldn't help me...I need larger torsion bars.
