I beleive the early cars weigh a few hundred or so pounds lighter than the late cars.
If you have an electric sunroof you can switch it to a manual to take off a few more pounds.
Also do an A/C delete and power steering to manual rack as well which will save weight.
Other than that, you can go fiberglass bumpers, fenders, hood, etc... But those cost quite a bit, and dont always fit right.
You dont have a cone filter right off of the air flow meter do you?
Have you done any exhaust work?
