THanks for the tip.
I want to make sure I am using the puller correctly. I put the sharp end into the hole on the flange (actually, I put the sharp end into a washer and put the washer over the hole so i don't strip the threads), and tightened the legs around the rim of the flange. Then, with a socket and ratchet, I tightened the puller shaft onto the flange. Then, I tried pulling back on the legs of the puller. Is this correct? Are you supposed to pull the legs like levers, or are you supposed to just pull the assembly straight backwards?
