Also, several people (Jim Sims, Hugh R., and others) have installed a muffin fan over the resister pack in the passenger floorboard. Apparently the extra airflow into the evaporator helps with cooling.

I'm one of the referenced "others" who has experimented with fans at the evaporater inlet. I don't know how much a performance impact you will notice.....but it certainly can't hurt!
