When I was looking at 944s a PCA instructor who was trying to sell me his car said that the strut brace didnt seem to make much of a difference because the strut towers are already fairly far back close to the fire wall. He had a brace in the car so it was an interesting sales tactic???
It certainly couldnt hurt the car but I would look to improve other areas before adding a strut brace.
