Think if I eventually find something I need a x360 for, I'll get it then.

Motorstorm is lots of fun and playing online (which is free on the PS3) is a blast.

My money would be on NO.
And isn't HD DVD significantly cheaper?
Sorry that is way off topic for the original post, I'm just curious.

There is no difference in picture quality between Blu-ray and HD DVD. If you take the same HDCAM master and encode/author it for Blu-ray and HD DVD they will look identical.
Regarding costs, it does cost more to manufacture Blu-ray than HD DVD, but both HD formats average $19.95 to $27.95 per disc and are priced pretty much the same in retail stores.
Currently, the average price of HD discs sold through Amazon is $27.70 for Blu-ray and $32.40 for HD DVD.
Look here for details.
