"chinaman" is just plain rude. some dcikhead called my dad that 2 months before he died. (in houston) i was 13 and i told him "eff you" too. it is what i do. throwing up "PC" is the real knee-jerk reaction.

You're either Chinese or American. Which is it? The irony is that I can rattle off a host of slurs in Chinese that would be hugely offensive if said by a Chinese man to another. But instead this round eye can make them into light humor because the mere fact that I know what those words mean proves I have a knowledge and interest in Chinese language, culture and history.
Anyway, I believe the photo atthe beginning of this thread is from Geno's in Philly. I was there last Friday night. We wanted to go to Pat's, but felt we had to spend some money at Geno's because of their signs. So we did and then got seconds at Pat's a few minutes later.
