I met some guys at a BBQ a couple of weeks ago down in Florida and they were hard core Samurai fans. Both own then and explained there is a hard core cult following. Yeah they really do have a following. Mine is a long wheelbase model that was never sold in the US.
I bought mine almost 3 years ago for $400. I figured I could use it as a beater. Turns out to be far more dependable than our Jetta. I did a diesel swap and now it not only goes like stink, it actually stinks.
