They just don't grasp the magnitude of the red x. Thus, they will always be inferior. 
Actually, my wife loves football. How many men can come home on a weekend to find their wife on the couch watching football? As in, she CHOOSES to watch it. Now if I could just get her into cars and flying, we'd be set..........
