I talked to my son last night and he got a kick out of the responses from you guys. Nothing like a collective sense of calm!! Anyways, no bets or enslavement based on the 2012 stuff, just dedicated to his upcoming first semester and meeting all the honies on campus. Ah, the college life...............

I give the Mayans credit for listening to their alien visitors who helped direct them in proper pyramid construction; because no one on this planet must have had that capability!! I do dispute their ability to determine the center of the Milky Way under naked eye (unless of course the alien architects helped here too), which is the basis of the Mayan calender and the 2012 world end scenario. Naw, I like the "big bang eruption" forecast for that monster crater we call Yellowstone and beyond. Afterall, on the geologic clock we are but a blink of the eye over a full days time on this planet and sooner or later its got to start burping again.
