The upshift indicator circuitry is inside the tach, so no separate bulb and socket. FSM says replace the tach if the bulb burns out! Is it possible that the extra socket/wire is for the "time to change the O2 sensor" warning light located between the tach and speedo? I'm not exactly what year/model had this "feature".
