I live in Minneapolis. It's not a real diverse area unless you consider the schism between Sweeds, Norwegians and Finns a big deal. My daily commute is like Russian Roulette. The regular day is spent dodging soccer moms and Yuppy swine as they weave across the lanes without so much as a left turn singnal. More than once I've had redneck males in SUV/pickups try to run me off the road for no more reason than I was there and driving a nice car. I had one close call recently where I was merging onto I 35 W with the top down into a wide open slot that was several car lengths long. The @sshole in a Silverado that was well behind where I was merging floored it to catch up to me and literally tried to run me off the road.

My personal observation is: bad driver percentage - Almost everyone I encounter. Percentage who are lilly white: almost every one I encounter.

Bad driving is an American trait. It has little to nothing to do with race, sex, age or gender. Hang out in the middle lane at five over the speed limit for a while and see the people you pass and who pass you. It's scary and it's race and gender neutral.
