Ferdinand and Elephant was the same vehicle and only use the 90 or so chassis that Porsche had designed in his failed bid for the Tiger contact. There was a general order in 44 that redisgnated the Ferdinand's to Elephant's. Hardly anything like a tiger tank. They were heavy and severely underpowered but effective at range and only when supported with other armor and infantry.
