Define "interesting". A friend of mine got trapped in his '03 Passat diesel last month when a "door sensor" malfunctioned. He was in there with his two kids (3 & 6 yrs old) for almost an hour before they "tricked" the power locks into allowing them to escape. He's currently trying to sell the cursed thing at a disgusting loss.
I borrowed my dad's '04 Accord (5 speed) for a day last month. It was a fun car to drive and steady as a rock. I wish we could get them with the 2.2 diesel over here.
Also, the new Civic is actually a
good looking car, instead of simply palatable (IMO). The new Jetta looks like it was left in the microwave 30 seconds too long.
