Speeding tickets in CT are EXPENSIVE.
I got a 20 over on I95. Cost me $250. Most of the hit was "Clerks fees" and other admin crap.
Girl I know got one, she sent the court a letter explaining that the fine did not seem appropriate. She thought it was too much.
The judge sent her a letter back agreeing the fine was not appropriate and ADDED $100 to the fine.
doh!
