While i've never driven a dragster or funny car, I've heard that funny cars are much, much harder and require a great deal more driver input. Dragsters are closer to a point and shoot kind of thing under most conditions.
I've driven a blown gas flatbottom and a comp hydro at close to 150 mph in the 1/4, scared the you know what out of me. I'm too old for that now.
