I hear what you're saying, but I guess what prompted my thread was Apple's quarterly report yesterday. Obviously, they "blew away" the analysts' estimates, but then it was generally reported that Apple consistently "underprojected", so that makes me wonder "what's the point of it all"? I know, I know, ....the talking heads must have something to chat about. I guess I just don't get the prediction/projection aspect...why do it at all (since they consistently miss), just wait a few days until the REAL numbers come out and save some hot air
