The world is full of crooks. A couple weeks ago the AC in our house quit working. Called a local guy and he says that the compressor and the fan motor are both kaput. $1800 to replace. Sounds too fishy that they would both go out at the same time. A ***** load of money too. I call another AC guy to confirm the problem. Turns out it was a $75 part! Problem solved.
