Your last post here (as "the" said) just about eliminated you from liking Phoenix at all. I spent some time in your area. I left because I was accustomed to, and liked SoCal where it is much warmer & drier. I really didn't like the rain, dreary, overcast days, rain, clouds, rain, and more rain. If mountains, water, green, living things, and the smell of cedar and pine are your thing, you'll find non of that in Phoenix. I appreciate the desert, but somebody accostomed to the wet, green NW would find it baren and hot.
