This is great advice, for anyone, and I know Dave already knows this. When you have critical customer data on a questionable drive, send it out. places like "Ontrack"
http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/ Can take that drive apart in a clean room and rescue it. Of course this is little help to SCO operating system looking for a boot loader, however still a good thing to do.
