Prices have not actually risen on these, they've been at this level for many years. At least for unmolested, rust-free southern trucks. An acquaintance of mine has bought/sold/restored about 50 of them, he had a competitor in SoCal who did more.
The price on the above described Bronco is unrealistic, unless the seller gets really lucky. His ace in the hole is the fact that there are never many around on the market, at least locally.
I owned one about 10 years ago, they drive like absolute schit. They're pigs, but they look cool. And I'm definitely a Ford truck guy. FWIW, I also thought that I was opening a link to a double-wide trailer for sale w/ the name "Bronco" on it. Time for a grammar lesson, or something.
