Slow with that angle of attack one has to wonder about stalling the wing. Then if the wing is stalled, he is flying solely on thrust which would require a lot (see other VTOL planes like the Harrier etc) of thrust. He couldn't safely perform a "Cobra" like a Mig that close. IIRC that plane does have vectored thrust though. With turbulence from the C130 and the angle of attack, one would wonder about stalling the intake too, although there maybe supplemental intakes, speed too low to stall the intake etc etc....
