Transmission Help If Possible..Thanks.

Hey All,

I seem to having a bit of trouble with my 1990 911 C2. She is running beautifully, however, I seem to be running into a transmission or clutch issue. I could use some advice..

When the car/tranmission is cold, the gears shift into place easily, and smoothly. Clutch feels good, and all is well.

After a good bit of driving (30 mins of stop and go) or 30 mins on the highway things start to change. If I let my car come to a complete stop, and go to shift into 1st, its very difficult to engage. Its as if something is blocking the gate from pushing the shifter up into first. If I quickly double clutch, it seems to help quite a bit and the shift will snik into gear. Also, if the car is moving (even very slowly) I can shift it into gear no problem.

I recently had my clutch fluid bled...didnt seem to help.

Anyone experience this, and have a diagnostic and fix for the issue? Is this normal behavior for a 1990 964 with all the updates? My clutch should still be good, and doesnt seem to be slipping at all when accelerating hard...

Any help would be appreciated,

Jack
