Since PWD sold his beloved 72S I have been edging ever closer to putting my 69 Mustang Mach 1 428SCJ, R Code car up for sale. Triple Black in that model was a Special Order. I have the Marti Report and orginal Black CA License Plate still on the car.
I have driven the car less than 5000 miles since the car had a GROUND UP Mechanical restoration. The Motor is Built to the Hilt and the Suspension is Global West with 4 wheel discs to make it more modern. The only thing I didn't do was repaint the car. It shows well enough but is not perfect.
What holds me back is what kind of price should I ask and the fact I hate lookie lou tire kickers who are gona be nitpicking the car.
Also I have that completly orginal Ford 427 Center Oiler with a STANDARD BORE to sell as well. With the price of a SOHC motor at nearly 50K the 427 I have should be worth in the hood of 25K or so...
With some of that money I could then restore my 69 S.
