Anybody who gets into old cars and isn't a Dealer or Pet it and sell guy..like Curtiss AA isn't going to be making any money on these things unless they keep them forever. So it is more because you like to do it than the money.

However when your dealing with a car that is worth many thousands of $$$, one has to keep an eye on the money end of things. That is only being fiscally responsible.

For PWD the Porsches also meant a Social outlet. I could care less about the Social end of Car Clubs. When I get in the car and drive it, the club isn't in the car with me, its the road,machine and me...the enjoyment of driving that paticular kind of ride.

If this Board didn't represent such a diverse group of generally sophisticated people I would have been a long gone daddy.
