912 or 911?
I stumbled across a 911 for sale at a back woods town local used car dealer. It looks to be around a 76. But after looking at it for a bit I started thinking that it may be a '76 912. It had a 6 cyl. in it with a slighly askew 911 badge on the back grill. But was missing a couple of things I thought a 911 would have (primarily, it did not have a passenger side rear view mirror). What are some key things I could look at to determine whether or not it is a converted 912 or a true 911?
