KABC is reporting that the body of the caretaker had bites all over his body. They are also reporting that police are still investigating whether it was the dogs who killed the man, or if he suffered a heart attack or some medical condition.
We had a Mastiff once... I can't imagine a normal mastiff attacking someone they knew. However the story says that there were 4 mastiffs and a bulldog on the property. If the dogs somehow got into a fight, trying to separate them could lead to an unfortunate ending.
