I lift weights which can be tough on the joints as well.

Make sure you're stretching enough- light stretching before tennis, more intense stretching after. I think Yoga has really benefitted my connective tissue in that respect. I supplement with Fish oil/Flax seed pills, and Glucosamine. Both would help you in your current situation.
