Although I didn't like his off the field actions, I believe he belongs in Canton. However, being the Dallas fan that I am, it's kind of hard to look at the triplets (Emmitt is a sure first ballot) as hall of famers. I never really looked at them as being as dominate as they were, it was an expected role from my point of view. Not until I heard what fans of other teams had to say, did I acknowledge that they were really that good. So yeah, I'm glad Irvin is in. He changed the game, and the game changed the rules because of him.
FWIW, I also believe that if baseball would ever pull its head out of it's arse, it would realize that Pete Rose belongs in the Hall too.
