Looks like a very, very nice car. It's up to you whether you want a $30k SC or not.
Arguments that it would cost much more to build it yourself don't really hold water since nobody gets 1:1 or even .75:1 for upgrades.
I'm impressed by the weight. My SC race car is 2500lbs (with less fuel) and the only thing heavier in my car are the wheels/tires, cage, fire system, SSI's and t-bars. I have light race seats, glass front bumper, only one oil cooler, lightened rear bumper, no rear bumper trim, rear euro crush tubes, glass rear wing/decklid, RS carpet kit, no sound insulation anywhere (even the floorpan), no stereo system or wiring, RS door panels, stock brakes, no side sills and some other stuff I'm forgetting.
