I finally got to Paint and Custom and I think the story is similar - 7-8K for removal of items (bumpers, mirrors, lights etc) rub back to bear metal and paint. this excludes under hoods, any extra repairs if needed and anything I need or want to replace, say seals etc which I will probably do adding more costs (parts and labour) - so i am looking at 10-12 coz i want other stuff done. i'll go back to p&c based on the fact they do more porsche jobs, if i had a healey i'd go to healey factory i guess.

I actually went to paint and custom about 4 - 6 weeks ago after reading this thread and they were expensive and reluctant to assist. Based on my experience with them, I wouldn't evern bother taking a trip down there!!
