Side note to this thread. I emailed the seller of the eBay 69E regarding the engine number. He responded with thanks, investigated, and is relisting the car with mention of the engine mismatch.
"Well, after hours of web searching I found a site that had engine VIN's. According to that site you are right. I trusted the guy I bought it from. Seemed like a real nice guy. Maybe he didn't know either. I will add this to the listing and email the current bidders. Thanks for the catch. Shane"
