Having owned several 914's. two 924S's and now a 911S. I would recommend this.....
If you need the extra room get the 911 better long term investment no matter which one you purchase IMHO. If you really don't need the back seats I would get the 914 and put either a 3.0 or a 3.2 w/carbs in it...... to me they handle a hell of alot better and with the six in there, I would imagine a rocket...... This will be my next project when the time comes.... I have seen that even when not an original 914-6 they still usually demand a premium if done correctly, and I don't know, I am just and little partial to those cars and think it would be a really fun car.... always wanted a silver one w/black Fuchs and tinted windows........ some day........
