These "ruins" are *completely* bogus! Don't waste your time and gas.
I suppose they are about 100 years old by now, and the Colorado and Colorado Springs tourist promoters can't bring themselves to really say they're completely fake, but everybody "sort of" knows it. They are a popular movie backdrop, though.
