I just say "thanks again". Usually doesn't happen that way for me. It's a little goofy when one party opens the first door and the second opens the second door. In the south, usually if I "come in second" as a result of holding the door, the first party will insist I be waited on first. Sort of embarrassing.

Is it a nationwide practice that people pull over to the side of the road when a funeral procession is passing from the opposite direction? That one kinda suprised me when it happened on a divided highway (not unlimited access like an expressway).
