No, but it's in the cards. Only one gun, so no arsenal to lock up yet.  As someone else said, it's not my kid, it's others that I worry about. My son (3) knows that daddy's gun is a "real gun", and "real guns hurt people". He also knows his gun is a "toy gun". He is scared to even touch my gun, which is good. He's also been around when I've target shot, so I think he understands.
When I do pick up a safe, it will be a small fingerprint recognition pistol safe that I can keep near the bed. Probably the only safe that is simple to operate in the dark while in a panic. As the collection grows, I'll probably pick up a more conventional safe for storage purposes.
