Age and manufacturer are important on the Italian guns. Some of them have made huge strides in quality in the last decade. If it is relatively new, and made by Pedersoli, for example, it may be worth a couple hundred. That's at the high end. Rifles from the other Italian manufacturers, and older Pedersolis, are worth virtually nothing. Some are not even safe to shoot.

Lyman imports Italian rifles, but for the life of me, I can't remember who makes them. It's not Pedersoli. It's the "other" competent Italian manufacturer of replica arms. If some one can come up with a name, that would give you the two that are actually worth anything. If it's anything other than one of these two, I would pound it into the ground and grow roses up around it, or use the barrel as a jack handle, or...
