I agree my wife and I purchased a Maytag washer and electric dryer from Best Buy about 2 years ago. We purchased aprox. middle of the road in regards to price and features. About 14 months into ownership the dryer starts squeeling like a pig!! We called out a service dude and he replaced the belt tensioner and the felt pads the drum rolls on, he says this dryer is a piece of ****. Well fast forward about a year and you guessed it she has started squeeling like a pig again !!!!!!! The belt tensioner is the culprit. I'm going to remove it and try to figure out how to apply grease into this assy so it won't squeel. Damn plastic piece of crap Why can't they use a metal roller on a steel pin that's greasable You would think the environment this has to live in ( constant rotation, heat, lint ) that they would over design the tensioner I just don't understand why a major brand like Maytag would use this cheap crap
