you guys in the rebuild business...please clue me in on this!
What do I have here?
I can ask a million questions but I have no solid answers as of yet.
If this was rebuilt, does this practice still happen oR is/was this a practice 5 yrs ago, 10 yrs ago, 20 yrs ago? Was it a dealer thing? Is this a traceable rebuild? What about the red paint over the number 20 stamped into the metal? Was this a California practice on rebuilds as no one here east coast has ever seen this before!!
You guys are making me pull this out of ya...can anyone provide specifics?? (I am trying to see if I bought a pig - n - a - poke and have a POS engine long block!!)
