Question Computer Gurus - startup problem

(Oops. Wrong forum. I wanted this in OT. I'll ask the mods to move it)

Guys,

This just started. Every time I do a re-boot of my old PC in the back office, I get a message telling me that Windows is configuring FAX and then I get a message telling me that I need to insert the CD "FAX". What the he11? I've never gotten this message before. I've run a Registry scan with an old version of Registry Medic and it's cleaned things up a bit in there. I've also run SpyBot S&D and AdAware. Heck, I even DeFragged it. Everything seems in order, but I'm still getting this message. The really annoying thing about it is if I press the Cancel button on the little message box, it just tries it again, and again, and again, etc., at least ten times before it finally gives up.

What the heck is going on and how can I fix this? I run Win2000 Pro with all the updates on an old machine running a Intel Celeron chip, but it has added memory and a bigger hard drive.
