Do we have an Optometrist in the house??
Hey all,
I just did my back to school eye exam the other day, mostly because I was concerned about a yellow tint to the whites of my eyes that some friends noticed. The Optometrist I went to said it was tissue growth caused by extended exposure to UV rays. I didn't really think much of it at the time, since it wasn't jaundice or anything, but now I'm sort of worried. Is it dangerous to my vision? Is it reversible? As in, can I correct it with surgery or by limiting my UV exposure?
I think it's about time to invest in a pair prescription sunglasses...
Thanks!!
