1971 or 1973 would be fine. The 1972's oil door is not typically seen on an RSR. You would probably like the 3.6L engine the best. With that, I would recommend a 1973 for the 915 transmission. I believe that it is a better choice of transmission to handle the 3.6L's horsepower.
